More importantly, the workshop will explore research-based pedagogical principles that speak to key areas highlighted by AP 4105 – regular effective contact, academic integrity, monitoring student progress, frequent and timely feedback, and student authentication. Participants will be able to share their own practical advice and ideas on how their classes fulfill these expectations. Participants will also explore the new Online Education Initiative course design rubric and discuss how it might help or hinder effective and innovative online teaching.
