Technology Available for Checkout

The TIC provides technologies for faculty to try out innovative tools and approaches for classroom and online teaching. Standard checkout time is two weeks.

Equipment Reservations

On Campus

The TIC is located in 1253/1253B on the second floor of the Library Information HUB on the Oceanside campus. Photographs are on the virtual tour page.

TIC 1253 area

This is the open lab area; it contains:

  • 3 PC desktop computers
  • 1 Mac desktop computer
  • Headsets
  • 2 High Speed Flat Bed Scanners w/ Auto Feed
  • Color printer
  • Office supplies (stapler, tape, scissors, paper cutter, hole punch, etc.)

TIC 1253B area

This area can be reserved for meetings and trainings of 5-15 people, as well as for individual use of the sound booth. When not reserved it is open access. Please refer to the TIC calendar for schedule and book on 25Live.

  • Smart classroom-like setup with presentation station for meetings and trainings
  • Microphone and camera to enable simultaneous meeting access to online participants
  • 2 PC desktop computers
  • 5 PC laptop computers
  • Sound booth with a PC and a Mac, as well as specialized video and eLearning software

Software in TIC 1253 A & B

  • Microsoft Office on the PCs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
